Colour Correcting Powder comes in a compact with a full-size mirrror in its lid. The four colors in this pressed powder have been selected to reduce redness, to cover up dark circles and to even the skin tone. Don’t expect a lot of coverage as the powders are translucent, so unless you have almost perfect skin, I would use it over a foundation. The light-reflecting mineral pigments brighten up the complexion and the formula with medicinal plant extract doesn’t dry the skin, which makes it a nice compact to carry for touch-ups during the day.
Volume Mascara has the classic type of wand I like to work with. The thick bristles give a nice, voluminous result if you concentrate on the roots of your lashes (a lot of mascara on the tips will cause them to lose the curl). However, if your lashes are very short, this wand may be too thick for a mess-free application. It has a creamy consistency that doesn’t clump and mineral pigments provide color. Its formula contains several botanical and natural ingredients that protect and care for the lashes, like quince seed and sugar cane extracts, silk powder, candelilla wax and castor seed oil. Many natural mascaras have an earthy, mossy scent that some find unpleasant, but this one doesn’t. The damask rose flower wax in the formula adds a soft flowery scent to it. Volume Mascara is available in black, brown and plum, a great color to make green eyes pop.
The new Lipstick not only colors the lips with natural mineral pigments, the beneficial botanical ingredients provide intense nourishment: jojoba and beeswax, rose petals, almond oil and carnauba wax, to name a few. The creamy consistency glides evenly onto my lips and offers a natural-looking, soft shimmer. You can dab also them on with your fingers for a soft effect. The pigmentation is ok, but as many 100% natural lipsticks do, it wears off rather quickly, so make sure to take your lipstick with you to reapply. There are no less than 18 colors to choose from, ranging from soft pinks and nudes to a dark burgundy. Isn’t n°11, Amaryllis, a vibrant, cool red, a true summer color?
