Take your cleansing routine to the next level with Babor’s Silicone Cleansing Brush

It’s been a while since I’ve talked about Babor, so it’s high time to put this trusted German cosmetics brand in the spotlight. It’s a  third generation, family owned company which produces a broad range of high quality skin care and make-up products, used by beauticians worldwide. I’ve tried a Babor moisturizing cream and serum before, and as I was truly impressed with the quality/price ratio, I was happy to put the new Silicone Cleansing Brush to the test.

Babor’s new facial cleansing device has been designed to cleanse, vitalize and gently exfoliate the skin. It’s a handy, battery-operated cleansing brush with a flexible silicone head. The differently shaped silicone knobs are rounded, which feels comfortably to the touch. Babor claims the 12.000 tiny micro-vibrations per minute massage the skin, leaving the complexion fresh and rosy and preparing the skin for care products.

I apply my cleansing oil onto my dry face, and, instead of working it around with my fingers as I usually do, I moisten the silicone cleansing brush with water, I turn the switch on and place the brush head on my skin. Using circular movements, I work around my face, neck and décolleté. The oval-shaped, flexible brush follows the contours of my face and easily reaches the sides of my nose. When I’m done, I rinse my skin and I clean the brush head by holding it under running water. The brush head stays on, as the device is waterproof. I definitely like the Silicone Cleansing Brush, it gently and thoroughly cleanses, plus it massages my skin without any extra effort or time. I’ve tried similar cleansing brushes with nylon and polyester bristles, that felt less comfortable to the touch, so this is good news for you beauties with sensitive skin. The silicone bristles are hygienical, they don’t absorb any cleansing product and they’re easy to clean, either with water or a mild soap from time to time. This brush is ideal to travel with, it’s lightweight and compact-sized, and it comes with a protective cap for the brush head. There’s also a holder for easy storage on your bathroom shelve. Batteries are included in the box.

For clean skin,
Peggy
