A pink look: from commercial to fashion
Pink is definitely present this coming spring/summer. Like it or not, this girly colour is all around. How about pink makeup? Let me show you three different looks made by the exact same lip and blush products.
For the first look I wanted to create a commercial feel, the kind of pictures you see in advertsing campaigns for beauty brands. The photographer captured exactly what I wanted and the soft smile on the model’s face makes me wanting to buy the products! Mission completed!
On the eyes a coral pink blush combined with a gloss product. On the lips a matte lipgloss combined with a transparant lip balm.
The second look was an idea from the photographer, she wanted an ombré lip. I left the eyes the same but retouched the eyebrows by combing some concealer through. The lips got a bit of foundation and in the middle I’ve added some Lip Crayon to get the ombré result. The hair got some wax et voilà, a more fashion look was born!
For the next look I wanted it to look funky fashionable. I removed the balm on the lips and dabbed in some of the matte nude pink lipgloss. I removed most of the blush on the eyes and used the Lip Crayon in combination with the blush to create a smudged eyeliner.
You don’t really need a lot of (expensive) makeup products to create some (original) looks. All you have to do is think -or in my case not think too much- which result you want to get and go for it. Less is more and in this case you can take it quite literally!
